Look out for Greenlight Computers at the Insider International Trade Awards 2024
We’re thrilled to announce that Greenlight Computers is actively participating in this year’s prestigious Insider International Trade Awards event at the Midland Hotel on Wednesday 4 December 2024 in Manchester.
Both Gary Dodson (CEO) and John Sewell (COO), will be in attendance and both are looking forward to seeing familiar faces and engaging with industry leaders at the event.
The Greenlight team are honoured to have made the final shortlist of nominees for the Insider International Trade Awards 2024 in the categories of ‘Emerging Exporter’ and ‘Impact’
To be recognised in these two categories further highlights our commitment to providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with our clients and partners, both here in the UK and Globally.
About the awards we have been nominated for
The ‘Emerging Exporter’ award is an award for companies that have been involved with exporting goods, services, or technology for up to five years. The ‘Impact’ award is an award for a company that is making a difference, whether through ethical export, looking after their supply chain, improving their sustainable credentials, or improving people and planet – not just profit.
One of the founding principles of Greenlight Computers was to minimise our carbon footprint by the way we operate. The company was named Greenlight Computers in 2006 with a key focus on building local teams to serve local client clusters across the UK – minimising our travel and reducing our carbon footprint.
In 2024 we now operate in 5 locations across the UK using local people to deliver local services where possible, it’s hard to measure but we believe we are ahead of our goal to deliver 90% of our services online or within a 10 miles radius of where our staff are based.
We have a growing number of clients from Europe and USA who use Greenlight Computers for UK technical client visits rather than fly their staff in. Over the past 12 months we have cemented our relationships with clients from USA, Italy & Netherlands and become their UK workforce.
Our fingers are crossed for when the results are announced on Wednesday.
