To mark joining UKSPA as affiliate member for IT & Telecom solutions provider Gary Dodson CEO Greenlight Computers visited Adrian Sell Head of Membership and Communication at Chesterford Research Park.

Who are UKSPA?

The UK Science Park Association (UKSPA) is a membership community providing collaboration and connectivity to over 200 science parks and 6,000 businesses on those parks.

UKSPA supports, promotes, represents and encourages the continued growth of Science Parks, Technology Incubators, Innovation Centres and other Innovation locations and Areas of Innovations.

Why has Greenlight Computers joined UKSPA?

Greenlight Computers is a Life Science & Healthcare specialist IT & Telecoms solutions provider support over 100 businesses in the sector from 5 UK offices, 4 of which are in Science Parks. We pride ourselves in the delivery of IT services to regulated and un-regulated businesses with the expertise to support the park infrastructure and the tenant/occupier businesses on campus.

Joining UKSPA was a logical next step in our evolution toward our goal of being the UK partner of choice for Life Science & Healthcare.

What are the next steps?

The Greenlight Computers team has had a busy summer exploring new opportunities, some of the highlights include:

  • Greenlight Computers have recently taken on 2 new clients in the Glasgow are and have plans for an office opening in 2025
  • We have ongoing discussions with a new spinout from the University of Cambridge
  • An expansion of our office footprint at Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst is planned for Q4 2024
  • The provision of resilient broadband solutions to a major UK partner will see a new site added
  • 4 new early-stage businesses have signed up to Greenlight Computers safe start program in collaboration with local accelerator programs
