Greenlight Computers was pleased to attend Managed Services Summit North last week and meet with the leadership teams of other Northern MSP businesses. The full day conference at Manchester Central explored the latest trends in Cyber Security, CRM, RMM and many other key subjects, the knowledge of which is essential to running a successful MSP.

The motivational keynote speaker for the event was Darren Campbell MBE a gold medal winning Olympic sprinter who eloquently challenged the audience to work through difficulties with belief for the long term.

Greenlight Computers was also represented by CEO Gary Dodson on the final panel session of the day bringing together the thoughts on the challenges and opportunities for 2023. Gary stressed the importance of MSP collaboration as a key to success in 2023, working alone will lead to staff burnout and challenge any MSP’s skill base with the ever-changing IT landscape. Major themes that came from the day included the automation of simple tasks, the challenge of resourcing and the potential for SME growth as the big IT players drop the ball.

The event concluded with drinks and canapes and an open discussion about the topics that may add to the MSP North 2023 agenda.
