Following successful beta trials with early adopters Greenlight Computers is proud to launch Freelancer Protect & VIP Protect as our flagship solutions to solving the issue of Freelancers, Non-Execs, Consultants being the weakest link in their client’s cyber security.

Businesses invest significant resource and money to achieve this and then use contractors, freelancers and non-execs who operate from personally owned devices with often very little cyber security protection. Greenlight Computers Freelancer Protect is designed to resolve this weakest link and bring contractors, freelancers and non-execs up to a corporate level of cyber protection and provide the IT support they often don’t have.

What is Freelancer Protect?

Freelancer Protect includes three main elements all Freelancers need:

1. M365 Business Premium with Microsoft recommended security configuration.
2. Greenlight Cyber Security standard model of 21 measures.
3. Unlimited helpdesk IT support.

The Cyber Security measures are currently helping our clients through audits with Big Pharma, Major Insurers, Public Sector and is revised each quarter should a new threat change the landscape.

What does it cost?

Including all the software licencing required and services the current cost is from £95 plus VAT per month.

The transition to Freelancer Protect?

If you would like to move to the Freelancer Protect service, this is the process:

1. Make an enquiry through our website enquiry form (contact us)
2. We will need to audit your current IT. (the charge for this is £100 plus VAT)
3. We will advise on the changes required to move to Freelancer Protect and quote for those works. (if you go ahead the audit charge will be refunded)
4. Upgrades to achieve Freelancer Protect will be made.
5. User training in the cyber protections will be provided on handover.
6. Certificate of Freelancer Protect status issued.
7. Your IT support service will go-live.

What is VIP Protect?

Freelancer Protect is designed to protect a Freelancer with a Laptop and M365 account. If you have the following types of additional requirements:

• Multiple clients and email account aliases.
• Multiple devices in addition to your laptop are to be covered.
• You would like to include home visit services.
• You would like to include a temporary replacement loan laptop if yours fails.
• You would like an additional person covered.
• You would like an independent 3rd party backup of your data in M365, just in case.
• You have a website you would like protected.
• You have other items you would like to be included in your VIP protect package.

Greenlight Computers VIP Protect is a bespoke solution for key individuals with a more complex requirement set.
